RAISE Mentoring Program 2021

Ten students from Years 7-9 participated in the RAISE Mentoring Program this year. All students experienced an amazing journey that included face-to-face mentoring and then sessions went online. The program went for 26 weeks and all students attended the online Graduation session on Friday 29th October.

Comments from students:

I found the program very helpful, entertaining and very essential. I enjoyed it a lot and have taken heaps from it. I can look at the book and let the things I learnt influence me now and in the future.

The program improved my confidence and was helpful.

The program made me happy and contented with my surroundings. I have been supported by both my mentors so much and hope to see them in the yard next year. I thank them for everything they have done and knowing I have a memory of them makes me happy. I will forever keep the memory of them supporting me at my lowest. They helped me to achieve my best. Thank you for allowing me to participate in this program. I have learnt a lot and was pushed a lot out of my comfort zone, more than I expected.

Amazing experience, helped in so many ways, the most amazing people!

Epping Secondary College will be running the RAISE Mentoring program in 2022 and this will be our 6th year. We are very fortunate to have this ongoing partnership with the RAISE Foundation. I am very grateful for this amazing mentoring program and for the RAISE Foundation’s generosity and commitment to the students at Epping Secondary College.
