Grade 5/6

WAKKAR Week

WAKRAR Week stands for We Are Kind, Resilient, and Respectful.

 All of the Grade 5/6s were put in ‘clans’ and participated in 6 different teacher lead activities that challenged students to push the boundaries and work outside of their comfort zone while discussing and unpacking what our school values really mean. The week was concluded with all students creating a tie-dye t-shirt to keep as a memento!

 Grade 2

These are posters to promote ways we can be sustainable and help look after our environment. This work was in response to this Terms' focus on 'Environments and Sustainability,' more specifically the book ‘Old enough to save the planet  by Loll Kirby

Foundation

Foundation has read Little Red Riding Hood this week. We made some stick puppets and practised retelling the story to a partner.
