Co-curricular - Junior Sport

We have come to the end of another year, and what an interesting year it has been. Thank you for all your support and efforts with the boys and their co-curricular commitments. A few reminders for the commencement of 2021 co-curricular year.

Junior School summer sport trials will commence on Friday 29 January. This is the first day back to school for Term 1, 2021. PE uniform, including colour house shirt, is to be worn for the trials and boys are encouraged to bring any personal protective gear required for their sport. The College will supply additional equipment. 

The order for trials is as follows: ​Basketball, Cricket, Softball and Tennis​. These trials will be conducted at College venues during the day. Should further trials/selection of teams be required, they will take place on Saturday 30 January 2021 at the College. ​Boys will be notified on Friday 29 January.

Swimming trials for the Junior School Carnival will be held on Tuesday 2 February 2021 in the College pool. Boys will come to school in their College uniform and wear swimmers underneath. Once in their classrooms, boys will change into their PE uniform (colour house shirt), ready to move to the pool. Boys will need a change of underwear, a towel, and goggles for the day.

A reminder that boys playing Basketball in the Junior School from Summer 2021 will be hiring their singlets from the commencement of Term 1. A charge of $20.00 will go on a student’s Term 1 fee account. The singlet is to be returned (clean) to the coach at the end of the season. Failure to return the singlet will result in parents having to replace the missing singlet in time for the following season. Please note that boys are still expected to purchase their own playing shorts and socks.
