Year 8 Prom Camp 2024!

The Prom is renowned for providing challenging conditions at times. From extremes of heat and cold, to gusts of wind. Fortunately for us, we had beautiful weather for our camp. Not too hot and not too cold. This allowed us to make the most of this spectacular part of God’s creation.  

Our Year 8 focus on 'Love God, Love Yourself, Love Others' was celebrated by us all admiring the beautiful creation we were immersed in, marveling at how our bodies were able to carry us over the terrain, and by supporting one another as we hiked. All students participated in day hikes, returning to Tidal River campground for a delicious meal at the end of the day. There was lots of time built in for fun and fellowship and when the time came to return home, it was with mixed feelings. There was excitement about the impending Christmas holidays mixed with sadness that we were leaving such a scenic place.
