3-6 News

Lizzie Tout, 3-6 Sub School Principal

It is with great pride that I write the final 3-6 newsletter article for 2020. We haven’t had the year we all imagine, but we have had a year where we learnt so much more about ourselves. The true champions of 2020 for me are the students at Point Cook College. Our children have had to live with adversity that even we as adults struggled with at times. Please take the time to celebrate them over the break and have some well-deserved family time.

A huge shout out to our families, your support this year has been above and beyond and I feel the partnership between school and parents has grown this year. We couldn’t have had such a successful return to onsite learning without your support during remote learning. It certainly has been a team effort this year, the staff and myself are truly grateful for all your efforts, we look forward to continuing this partnership in 2021.

Next week, we will be celebrating the year with our students. Tuesday will be a day for them to enjoy and celebrate with their peers their amazing efforts this year. The teachers have a great day planned for them, we hope that they a great time.

Reminder that Thursday the 17th of December is the last day of term for our students. Dismissal time is 1:00pm, please make the necessary arrangements for this, YMCA after school care will be open for those who require this service.

For those who celebrate Christmas, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and everyone a happy and safe New Year, if you are leaving the College we hope that you can look back on your time at PCC as time of growth and happiness. To all those returning, we can’t wait to see your smiling faces again in 2021, enjoy your summer, have a well-deserved break, here’s to a positive 2021.

Thanks for your continued support, it is greatly appreciated. We hope that we can have a positive end to this year and look forward to having a smoother 2021.

Kind Regards

Lizzie Tout
