Shares Their History Boxes

On Wednesday 26th June, the Foundation children shared their personal family history boxes with the school.

It was so wonderful to watch each child show on item or share a story about their family to their buddy or another child in the school. Each Foundation child confidently shared, explained or answered questions about their history box. The children were so excited and felt a real sense of achievement after the expo was over.

Well done Foundation!

Foundation and

The Good Samaritan

Last term the Foundation children looked at the story of the Good Samaritan- Luke 10:25-37. The children enjoyed the story and thought that everyone at St James was a good Samaritan. When asked why they thought this, the children replied that during the term everyone at St James has been bringing into school tins of food, pasta and special treats for the poor people in our community. We are the good Samaritans! Thank you to all the families that contributed to the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.

Baby Rosie Visits Foundation

During the last week of term, the Foundation children had a visit from the very beautiful baby Rosie. The children were fascinated with the little bundle of joy and Nat was happy for the children to hold baby Rosie. This was such a special experience for the Foundation children as some children were too young to remember their younger siblings births or the amazing growth they have had.

Nat answered all the children questions and explained the changes baby Rosie has already had. Big sister Matilda helped Nat answer some of the many questions.

We hope that baby Rosie visits us again as we watch her grow and develop. Thank you Nat and Matilda for visiting Foundation and answering our many questions.
