Steiner Classroom

Some of you may have heard of the Year 7 Steiner stream, some of you may not have. This short article will give you a insight about the class of 7E (Steiner Class).

These are the classes that 7E have

~Year 7: Home Room

~Year 7: Maths

~Year 7: Idea Lab

~Year 7: Indonesian

~Year 7: PE & Health

~Year 7: PA (Performing Arts)

~Year 7: Science

~Year 7: Steiner Create (Art)

~Year 7: Steiner Wood (Woodwork & Metalwork)

In Home Room we do Science, Maths, English, painting, drawing, singing, reading, cooking and reflecting. In Maths, we go on websites and answer questions related to the current Maths topic. In IDEEA Lab we do the same work as 7A and 7B, but we also work at Hands On Learning. In Hands On Learning we work in the gardens and cut wood and all sorts of other things.

In Indonesian we learn about basic words and topics and we take quizzes. In PE & Health we mainly go into the small gym room with the treadmill and other fitness equipment and we rotate to different equipment and then we might play a short game of a sport of some kind like soccer or hockey or any other sport.

In Term 1 & 2 we had PA and we made a medieval play but for Term 3 & 4 we don't have PA. In Science we are still familiarising ourselves with the equipment because we only started Science at the start of Term 3. In Steiner Create (Art) we have painted anime characters, made a medieval clay cup and now we are starting on clay fairy houses. In Steiner Wood we a making a timber candle holder. This is our first woodwork project because we only started Steiner Wood at the start of this term.
