Bradman Cluster Sport

How does one measure success in Cluster Sport?

Is it the number of games won?

If that is the measure then the Bradman Cluster has rated poorly. We only won one of the five games.

Is the measure of success the spirit of community within the Cluster?

When we look back at the term and the rise in the levels of cluster spirit and participation the Bradman Cluster has won more games than they lost.

We have had cheer leaders, in-game captains and coaches that have seen the considerable improvement in the involvement at our Cluster Sports games. I must of course mention the performances of the girls and boys team and the individuals that have had a huge impact on the games.

Bea as the in-game captain of the girls has brought together a team of girls that have been competitive in every contest. Alyssa Martinez left the court bleeding after a particularly physical game but was the first girl on the court for our next match. Isabella Yousef has been able to assert herself in all the games she has played and been one of the highest scorers for the team.

The boy’s team captained by Adrian Tardio is yet to be beaten. They have outscored their opponents on all occasions. With the muscle of Jake Moretti and the speed of Ryan Cauchi this team has dominated most encounters. It was not until the middle of the European Handball season that a decision was made to place Johnathon Harboglou in front of goal. Johnathon was amazing. The crowd cheered on as he dove left and right stopping any ball from making its way past his defence. Johnathon earned the nickname of “the wall” and our Cluster is still speaking about his efforts.

Everyone is excited to continue with Dodgeball and keep this Cluster spirit alive!
