European Handball

During the past two terms of cluster sports, Truganini has participated in Kickball and most recently European handball. In both sports, we have seen unbelievable spirit from our cluster with participation being outstanding. Our participants have shown resilience through any tough times experienced, with team pride continuing to soar high. Even when it became tough, the team continued with determination, and in doing so we have reaped the rewards! In Truganini’s first two games of kickball we saw defeat and things weren't looking the best, but that didn't stop us winning the next three games which lead us into the final against the undefeated Chang. Although we were the underdogs, we were more than ready to accept the challenge. Trailing with a few minutes left, we found the spark to get us over the line and be crowned the first CRC Sydenham Kickball champions. Currently, we are looking to go back to back in term 2 of cluster sport for European Handball. So far we are undefeated, knocking off every other cluster, which has put us into the grand final against Chang which will be played after the year 11 exams. Be sure to keep participating and supporting both cluster and SACCSS as it keeps us in the race for the O’Reilly Shield.
