Year 7 Ski Trip
Year 7 made their annual trip to Perisher Snow Fields from the 1st until the 4th of August. After many hours of travelling by bus, all boys were excited to go skiing. Most students had never seen snow before, making it a very a special occasion. A bonus was the wonderful snow and for the first time in 20 years our buses had to put on chains. The boys were very well behaved, supportive of one another and had a great time.
Dear St Pius X College Ski Staff,
We would like to thank you for setting up and taking us on this amazing journey which was the Ski Trip. We cannot thank you enough for bringing us together as friends and fellow Year 7s as we skiied and lived together for four days of fun. We would never even think that we can get so good at skiing in the two days of enjoyment and excitement. Thank you for creating a holiday that many schools could not even dream of doing. (Ashley Johnson and Xavier Rogers - Year 7)

I would like to thank all the staff who gave these boys this wonderful opportunity: Mr Stearn, Mr Russo, Mr Lynch, Ms Dempsey, Ms Keighery, Ms Bryant, Mr McBrearty, Ms Ramsey, Ms Leedham, and Mr Formosa.
Also, thanks to all the boys and parents who have sent messages of appreciation. I will respond to your emails as soon as possible.
