A ‘Thank You’ Note

Mother’s Day Stall – Happy Mother’s Day

What a huge success! We hope all mothers, grandmothers and carers were excited to open, and are still enjoying, their carefully selected gifts.

We know the children couldn’t wait to purchase your special gift and we commend them for being very patient and polite when waiting for their turn in line.  Thank you to Lucy Leahy for organising and purchasing the wonderful array of gifts for the children to choose from.  A big thank you to the volunteers also, who helped on the day to set up and sell the gifts to the children.

Mother’s Day High Tea

Thank you to all that attended the event. We hope you all enjoyed the wonderful and scrumptious goodies provided by Fabulous Catering Melbourne. They once again provided us with a wonderful assortment of finger foods to enjoy with some hot, much needed coffee and teas.

We also hope you all make great use of the free facial voucher offered to all mums at the event, donated by Sylvaine Moses from Grace Cosmetics. We would also like to say thank you to TLC for Kids for setting up their absolutely divine candles by MOR at the event. The candles made the hall smell extra special even without being lit!

Candles are also available for purchase online after the event, directly from TLC for Kids. A wonderful gift idea for any special person in your life, not just mums! See flyer for details.

 Again, thank you all for attending this special event. We all deserve a break from everyday life once in a while and what better way than with a little pampering and some scrumptious food! Last but not least, a HUGE thankyou to all the P&F Committee for working tirelessly over the last couple of weeks to make this event happen. Also a thankyou to all the volunteers that helped set up the event, help at the event and/or help with the big (not so fun) job of cleaning up after the event!  And a thankyou to Manuela, Janine, and the school office ladies for their much needed support and for putting up with us (the P&F committee) with all our requests!!

Mother’s Day Raffle

Thank you all for entering this year’s raffle. The raffle was drawn at the Mother’s Day High Tea event. We hope all winners are excited about their fabulous prizes:

We hope you are all ready for fun and games!! Thank you to all that have RSVP’d for this event. We can’t wait to see you all there. Remember to BYO snacks and drinks/alcohol and most of all don’t forget to put a little ‘flair and style’ in your black and white attire! For those who think they have missed out! Vinnie’s Winter Appeal – donations accepted from Tuesday 21st May to Friday 21st June

A reminder to bring in your donations for the appeal from Tuesday May 21st. This is a wonderful cause to get behind and help our immediate community who are less fortunate than us.  We are seeking warm blankets and apparel items for all ages (including babies and toddlers). We would also greatly appreciate any toiletries that you are able to assist with. Please refer to the flyer for details on donations, timings and the process to assist us in gathering everything.

P&F Meeting – Friday 24th May, 9am

Our next P&F monthly meeting will be held on Friday 24th May at 9am in the Father Fitzpatrick Room (church car park side of the school hall)

Everyone is welcome to join our meetings, so please feel free to come along and be involved as we discuss upcoming events and fundraising ideas.

Earn & Learn

Woolworths has just launched Earn & Learn, and we're once again joining it. For those parents who aren't aware of the program, if you shop at Woolworths between 1st of May and the 25th of June you can earn stickers. Our school will be collecting these stickers which we'll be able to swap for new school equipment; things like art and craft supplies, sports gear, teaching aids, and more. So for any parents who shop at Woolworths, please collect those stickers and drop them in to our collection box, which is located in the front office. Tell your friends and family too!! We also have a collection box at Coburg Woolworths to make it easy for them to donate to our school. Thanks for helping out!
