Stefania cooks at National Competition

Stefania Miceli at the World Skills Competition

World Skills update

Last year, Stefania Miceli of Year 11 Hospitality Commercial Cookery completed against students from the South West Region of schools in a cooking competition.

These students were competing for a place to compete against the rest of NSW for the chance to compete against the world and represent Australia for the VETIS (Vocational Education and Training In Schools).

Stefania, now in year 12, came first in her heat and after much waiting and reviewing of results we have been told she placed third overall for the South West Region of Sydney.

Unfortunately this meant she did not progress to the next stage but we are very proud to have watched her compete in such a prestigious competition. We look forward to seeing Stefania's name within the Hospitality world in the future and wish her all the best.
