First on the scene

Year 8 First Aid

During Health lessons this term year 8 have been learning first aid skills in their First on the Scene unit. We have been lucky to have some of our very own Year 11 St Johns Cadets students coming in to run some of these lessons. Students have been learning how to treat a variety of injuries and how to perform CPR. They have been taken through a variety of scenarios where they have had to come up with appropriate treatment plans. We would like to thank our St Johns Cadets for taking time out of their day to teach Year 8 these very important skills.​
