Thank you to Meg Barden-Hyde and the staff at TG’s ARMIDALE for this wonderful experience.
Speaking for The Planet
Well done to our year 7 students who today participated in the Speaking 4 the Planet competition at council chambers.
A special mention to Megan Summers who came runner up in the art section and John Harris who won the impromptu speech section.
All of the students were wonderful ambassadors for the College.
Chess
O'Connor's chess team did well at the Interschool Chess Tournament at Holy Trinity Inverell coming 4th and only 1.5 point less than 3rd.
Year 8 student Bradley Lidgard came first individual winning 7 out of 8 matches. Daniel van der Veer, also in year 8, received a special medal for under 14 1st prize.
Well done boys.
