Chess Kids

Young chess players improve their skills faster if they have the opportunity to play chess between their weekly lessons. We recognise that not all students have the ability to play against someone between their lessons each week, so we have researched online options for students to practice their skills.

ChessKid.com is a child safe website for playing chess online, anonymously, against other kids. The website has no chat function and no identifying information about players. We feel that this is the safest online website for children.

Kids Unlimited have worked with ChessKid.com to enable chess parents to register for a free account.

Your school's sign-up link for parents is:

https://www.chesskid.com/register/kid/group/JUQUCU

The free account provides access to unlimited anonymous games against other kids, chess puzzles and online lessons. Playing chess more often will increase children's overall engagement with the game of chess, and keep them motivated as their skills improve quickly!
