Performing Arts

Week 10 has seen the start of online private music lessons. Technology-willing,  most students are able to keep up their lesson schedule from home. Reports from teachers is mostly positive, and I would like to hear from students and parents.

On-line drum lesson

Class lessons continue online. This is proving quite challenging from both ends. A reminder that students at least should be on line in Teams at the start of the lesson where the teacher will address students. I have used the Portal, Teams and have even had a video lesson. It would be great for the Year 7 and 8 boys to have an instrument so see if there’s an old guitar in the garage that can keep their practical skills going or maybe a family sing along, from different rooms of course. We are all on a massive learning curve.
