Stem Presentation in Sydney

Last week, a team of teachers, KLA Coordinators and the Assistant Principal went to Sydney to present to a cohort of Sydney schools and the Univeristy of Sydney about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education at Kildare. This year, all of Year 10 have been involved in a STEM project which involved the design and development of billy carts using skills and knowledge from across KLA's. The project was conducted on a massive scale, involving all Year 10 students, teachers and support staff from TAS, Maths and Science.
Our presentation in Sydney was extremely well received with a number of schools and university academics giving commendations and even stealing resources! We are excited to continue expanding our STEM program at Kildare with further integration and creative projects across all year levels.
