VET Business Services Work Placement
Week 3 the VET Business Services HSC class went out on work placement. Unlike work experience, when students are on work placement they are expected to act like and perform tasks that entry level office employees would undertake. These tasks range from customer service tasks like answering phones and dealing with customers face-to-face to filing, spreadsheeting and updating databases. On this placement our students went to the following work places:
- Fitzpatrick Real Estate
- John Mooney Real Estate
- Kurrajong Waratah Industries
- Country Rugby League
- AFL Riverina
- St Micheal's Primary School, Coolamon
- Wade High School, Griffith

Congratulations to Will Campbell who was offered a part time position with Country Rugby League and will commence this at the completion of his HSC year and to Caitlin Laurent who was offered a casual position at Kurrajong Waratah at the completion of Year 12.
