Information Day

University of Melbourne

Interstate Student and Family Information Day - July 11 (during school holidays)

The University of Melbourne would like to invite you to attend our Information Day for interstate students and their families at our Parkville Campus on Monday July 11, 9am – 4.30pm.

The day will focus on aspects of the university that are of greater concern to interstate students such as the application process, scholarships, student services, accommodation options and financial assistance. Participants will have an opportunity to ask current University of Melbourne students who have come from interstate about their experience and how they managed the transition. The program will also include a campus tour and residential college tour. Lunch will be provided on the day.

We also highly recommend that you make it a long weekend and participate in another event we are running on the preceding Friday July 8  ‘A Day at Melbourne’ where you will find out about our undergraduate courses structure, majors, graduate pathways, enhancement programs and activities available through each faculty. The presentations will be delivered by a key academic with support from a current student. To register for ‘A Day at Melbourne’ go to http://go.unimelb.edu.au/u8ma

The two days are a perfect fit for finding out everything you need to know about Melbourne and you will get to visit some colleges at both events. However, if your aim is to visit as many colleges as you can, then the Open Day on Sunday  August 21 is a good day for college viewing as they are all open from 9:00am-5:00pm.

If you do decide to register we’ll send you a list of suggestions for a range of activities that you could do over the weekend including sporting, cultural events and dining options.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible as places are limited in this very popular program and registration will be closed as soon as we have reached capacity.

We hope you can join us for the Interstate Information Day.
