Curriculum Matters

Audit in Key Learning Areas

Each year two of our Key Learning Areas undergo a review process. The purpose of this is to ensure that quality learning and teaching is occuring as well as BOSTES/ Catholic Schools Office compliance. The audit process is conducted by a representative from CSO as well as curriculum leaders from various schools throughout the diocese. Kildare's Religious Education KLA has been affirmed in their work gaining a very favorable review. The panel examined student work samples, assessment tasks, teaching programs and other documentation.  It was noted that our students are immersed in rich learning environments with dedicated staff. Well done to our RE Team!

Timelines

For students in Year 10 we are embarking on the exciting times of looking at options for 2017.  For many of our students this will mean continuing their education at Kildare, whilst others will seek employment, apprenticeships or TAFE options. This timeline above outlines what we have planned over the next term and a half. Regardless of the option taken, students will be offered support and guidance so that they are well informed. I look forward to parents, students and teachers alike, being actively engaged and having great conversations about the possibilities that lie ahead.
