OnSTAGE & Art Express Excursion

Last Saturday 8 February a group of 43 Years 10, 11 and 12 students and five teachers ventured forth into the torrential rains of Sydney for the day. A group of Drama students went to the Seymour Centre to watch a performance of exemplary HSC Drama group and solo works from last years' HSC drama cohort.

The Visual Arts students went firstly to the National Art School for a tour of the site. They were guided around by Lorraine Kypiotis who is the on-site Education Outreach co-ordinator. Then they walked to the NSW Art Gallery to visit the Art Express display of exemplary HSC Visual Arts works from last year.

The students were perfectly behaved all day which made the experience significantly easier for all involved. A huge thank you to Ms Ryan, Ms Sutton, Ms Reardon and Mr Gaffney for supervising on the trip. (Mr Gaffney had backed up from the Warrambui Experience!) Thanks also to Brett and Ben from Allens' Buses who got us safely and smoothly to Sydney and back in a day, sometimes driving in torrential rain.
