MY COUNTRY- 3CW

Rupert's Country

Look a tthe shining stars in the glimering sky,

The sight of the sea you can never say goodbye.

The lovely gardens on the street,

The deserts scorching heat.

The massive buildings there so high,

The beautiful nights sky.

The happy birds chirping at the crack of dawn,

The lovely flowers on the lawn.

My Country

The shining sun wakes me up

As I get up I hear the loud never ending city

Up the flying planes go  zooming across the sky

as I see the cloud smoothly glide across the sky

The glaring moon shining over me at night

As I snuggle into the night.

MAC’S Country

Green grass covers the ground boots shred up grass the ball

rolls smooth across the surface on the ground.

The boiling sun shining on your back the glow of the moon at night.

That crystal clear beach with smooth waves.

That annoying fly’s in your face at

The beach

The boiling pool were we have to do swimming lessons and like a tear pool of droplets.

Those dusty hot boiling desert

My Country

The soft twinkle of city lights,

The crisp fresh air and it's kites,

Children sleeping and dreaming,

Golden stars shining and gleaming,

Silky coats and colourful dresses,

Fresh plants like capsicum and peppers.

Our secrets and our stories revealed,

Our cuts and burns unhealed,

Ragged ebony rocks huddled together,

Our navy blue jeans made of leather,

The cries and whimpers of babies,

The dandelions roses and daisies.

Words fluttering across a page,

Gumtrees, leafless of age,

Shiny grass wet with dew,

Fishing ships bundled with crew,

Birds chirping up in the trees,

Leaves whirling in the breeze.
