HELP NEEDED - FOOD DRIVE FOR THE ASYLUM SEEKER RESOURCE CENTRE

Hi everyone, just a reminder that the Food Drive for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre has begun and we need your help!

It’s a really powerful way in which our school can show kindness in action.

The ASRC helps feed about 700 people, including many families, each week, and they’re always in need of extra support.

The black tubs for donations will be outside the canteen in the MPR foyer and at the bottom of the stairs in the Organ Factory.

The top 10 foods/items the ASRC really needs are:

• Tinned tuna in oil
• Rice
• Vegetable oil
• Black tea bags and instant coffee
• Cornflakes and rice bubbles
• Biscuits, sweet and savoury
• Honey and peanut butter
• Laundry liquid
• Dishwashing liquid
• Dried fruit and nuts

(**They don’t need any baked beans, tinned spaghetti or tinned soup, thanks).

We’ll take donations to the ASRC whenever the tubs are full.
