Senior Girls’ Basketball
An outstanding effort by the Brentwood Senior Girls’ Basketball team saw them win the Flag on the 7th of May. The girls only had five players, but won all three of their games against Wheelers Hill and John Monash Teams A and B.
Looking forward to seeing what they can do at the EMR in August.
Well done, girls!

All Schools Cross Country
Last weekend we had a team of 4 students who competed at the All Schools cross country relay championships held at Jells Park. The “All Schools” competition included schools from the government system to the most elite private schools in Victoria. So the competition was really tough. Seb Eitzen, Josh Jensen, Luke Molinaro and Spencer Storan each completed a 3km leg for the relay and won the Bronze medal (6 seconds off the Silver medal!) in the 16 years age group. A huge achievement and we are very proud of them!

This week we held the House Cross Country trials at Brentwood and we had amazing athletes competing to become part of our interschool team. All female age groups ran a 3km course, and the 16 to 20 year males ran a 5km course. We were very lucky with the perfect weather conditions for the event.
Congratulations to the following students who won their age groups:
13 years Alex Vujmilovic & Grace Cunningham
14 years Spencer Storan & Sofia Galletti
15 years Josh Jensen & Charlotte Gervasoni
16 years Kevin Kim & Charlotte Hay
20 years Byron Browne & Gemma Dearness
House Results:
1st Green
2nd Blue
3rd Yellow
4th Red
The performances of all students at the trials has allowed Brentwood to put together a very strong cross country team that is competing next week at the Monash Division Championships on Thursday May 23rd at Norton’s Park. Best of luck to all runners.
