Games recommenced last weekend with some excellent performances through the age groups, particularly through the older age groups where both U14 and U17 sides won their games.
In the U13s the LMJCC Gold side defeated the LMJCC Blue team in the LMJCC derby. And in the U17s, the LMJCC Blue side won their second game of the season with a nail-biting one run win against South Perth Gold, highlighted by an outstanding captain’s performance by Brady Rafferty (33 runs, 3/8 off 3 overs, a catch and a stumping).
Finally, Joel Dooner (U14 Blue) had a fantastic weekend with 42 not out off 45 balls in the junior match in the morning, then later in the afternoon making his senior debut for the Lesmurdie-Mazenod Cricket Club. Congratulations Joel!
