Four of our Year 11 Drama students have been working alongside the St Brigid’s students and Head of Arts, Mark Sills, to produce a heavily self-directed and designed production of Hitler’s Daughter by Jackie French. The piece is nuanced and imaginative, as a group of young students explore how significantly the course of history as we know it could have changed if Hitler had a daughter, and the life that she would have led following the war.

Most of the students who are involved in the show are also starring in Mazenod’s Oliver!, and have been splitting their time, travelling to and from both sets of rehearsals with professionalism and maturity. I am very proud of the manner in which they have conducted themselves, and thankful for the opportunity to build on the relationship between the two College’s through the performing arts.

It would be great to see some of the Mazenod community supporting both our boys and the St Brigid’s staff and students, by getting along to see the show next week.Tickets are available at the door.
