Favourite Teaching Successes

After my first year at BCS I had a student contact me post-graduation and tell me I inspired them to become a teacher. It was pretty special.

Why I became a teacher

I am the eldest of five and so for the majority of my life I have been in a position to care for, guide and teach young people. Fulfilment from helping others is ingrained within me. I enjoyed school and was privileged to have teachers who inspired me to love learning. Furthermore, I like solving problems and being creative, both of which are necessary in teaching.

Something you do not know about  me

I have Moreton’s toe, a condition where both of my second toes are longer than my other toes.
