Junior Girl's Volleyball

On Wednesday 17th Oct, two Year 7 teams and one Year 8 team went to Rochester school to play Girls Volleyball as part of the GMDSSV Junior Summer Sports.

It was a great round robin atmosphere with three games each. Although some of the girls had no experience with Volleyball, they had a go and everyone had fun. It was great to see the improvement of serves from each girl throughout the day.

Congratulations go to Yr 7 Wanganui Team 1 and the Yr 8 Wanganui teams who both made it to the finals on the day. Unfortunately both teams lost the finals but were well deserved as second place for the whole day.
