Students were observing the effect of this enzyme working and what happens when it is denatured (no longer functioning).
In Year 11 Chemistry students have been studying different metals reactivity with oxygen, acid and water. This is part of the new VCAA Chemistry course at Year 11 which has the emphasis on sustainability and the environment. The purpose of the practical is learn how metals can react when exposed to these common chemicals found in our environment.
The Year 7 to 9 students have been busy as well. They have been studying the topics of laboratory skills, introduction to elements and radiation plus structure of the atom respectively.
