Architectural Studio Design
Year 9 students had to design a studio for “Kids Under Cover”. They applied architectural drawing conventions to produce a floor plan. The studio had to suit a sixteen-year-old and needed to have room for a bed, a desk with a chair, a wardrobe and an ensuite. It had to be no larger than 18 square metres. The digital work was created using SketchUp for Schools.

Scientific Illustration
Year 10 Visual Arts students have been exploring bugs up close and personal. After researching Scientific Illustration and selecting a bug of choice, students recreated their bug using watercolour tinting and black fine lined rendering skills, to create their own realistic scientific Illustration.
