Message from the Principal

Mrs Bronwyn Underwood

Dear Parents and Carers,

Over the past week, our students in Years 3 and 5 have completed the NAPLAN testing schedule. This year, the tests were held earlier in the hope that schools will benefit by receiving the results earlier, thus being able to plan more thoroughly for the learning needs of each child. Thanks to staff member Cathy Shepherd for coordinating the school's NAPLAN testing schedule.

We are looking forward to a wonderful social evening on Wednesday March 29, commencing at 5.30 a school. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Hat parade, the Toblerone chocolate raffle will be drawn and there will be a sausage sizzle for dinner. The classrooms will be open for you to wander through.  As another source of fund raising for the Year 5/6 Sydney trip, we will be running some 100 clubs on the night. Hopefully the weather will be fine and a good time will be had by all.

Thankyou to all the families who are selling the chocolate boxes and Toblerone raffle tickets for the Year 5/6 Sydney trip and to all the families who have supported the P&F Cookie Dough Fund raiser. There has certainly been a lot of interest shown by families, so thankyou.

Uniform items are now available from the school. We are in the process of organising

to monogram the shirts with the school logo. Please contact the school office if you have questions regarding the uniform. A huge thanks to Kate Holden who has been working tirelessly to organise our uniform requirements.

Last week we farewelled two families from our school. Mia and Kaylee McDonald have relocated to Lightning Ridge and Aisha Butcher has relocated to Tamworth. We wish the girls all the best for the future.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend.

Bronwyn Underwood
