Smile Squad - Free Dental for students

The Smile Squad team from Dental Health Services Victoria are coming to Cavendish Primary School starting 13th June 2023.  Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program.  This means all students can get a free dental check-up, preventive services, and treatment at school.

How to access free dental care

Your consent is required before they can provide services. Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.  Sign up to Smile Squad at: https://bit.ly/smilesquadvic

Please complete and submit the consent form by Friday 9th June 2023.

Paper copies of the consent form will be available. Please contact me if you would like one.

Do I need to attend my child’s appointment?

No, you do not need to attend your child’s appointment but if your child is anxious about going to the dentist you can attend if you would like to.  If so, an appointment time will be made.

Good Friday Raffle Books

The due date back for the tickets is no later than 9am Tuesday 4th April.  It will be drawn on Tuesday afternoon.

Parents Club Colouring Competition

We have extended the due date for the colouring competition.  Completed sheets are due back by no later than 9am Thursday 6th April.  These will be judged and prizes will be awarded in the afternoon

ICT Acceptable Use Agreement

I haven't had any more ICT Agreements returned since putting the reminder in the newsletter.  If you require a new copy please let me know.
