In The Spotlight

Kate Greskie

Halo anak-anak dan orang tua! Nama saya Bu Kate. I have been teaching at our wonderful school for 13 years and I am so grateful to be part of are OGPS community. Although I have been teaching for many years, this is only my second year teaching Indonesian, but I absolutely love it. I learnt Indonesian for 6 years at high school then at university for 4 years. My other ‘job’ is being a mum to Sadie and Leroy who will one day come to OGPS too. On the weekends, we love going to the beach, going for bike rides and spending time with our friends and family. Fun Fact: I taught Year 6 in London for 3 years before starting at OGPS. Each year I took my class to Disneyland in Paris for school camp!

Sampai jumpa!

Kristy Dodds

Hi, my name is Kristy Dodds and this is my 2nd year teaching in the Year 2 team at OGPS. I have been teaching at OGPS for 6 years now and I have enjoyed every moment.

I have 4 gorgeous children who are extremely active and keep me very busy. 2 of them are OGPS students, Alice (Yr6) and Max (Yr2) and my 2 teenagers, Harrison (Yr10) and Chloe (Yr8) are at St Ignatius Geelong College.

I grew up in sunny Sydney and 13 years ago made the move south to Victoria. I am therefore spilt between 2 footy codes; I am a loyal Manly Sea Eagles fan and have joined my husband and children in following the almighty Carlton Blues.

One of my favourite things to do is travel. I have travelled to over 35 countries and have lived in 4 different countries, Spain, Scotland, England and Estonia. I met my husband Mick backpacking in Turkey 19 years ago!

In my spare time I like being active. I enjoy doing yoga, reformer pilates, bike riding, swimming and walking my dog Ned. I also appreciate my quiet time. I will spend those moments reading a good book on my Kindle or binge watching a Netflix series!

Ross Gibson- New School Councillor

My name is Ross Gibson, father of Harry in 6RF and Angus in 1GL. We have an amazing school and joining the school council was an opportunity to play a part in supporting the great work being done.

My wife Jacqui, Harry, Gus and I have been in the Grove for 10 years and just love the community, lifestyle and environment.  I enjoy playing tennis and mountain biking where I come into contact with at least half of the OGPS dads out on the court or trails.

I am the Director of a safety consultancy firm called Leading Safety and will aim to bring some of that experience across to support the council.
