Zone Swimming Carnival

We are thrilled to announce that the Roselea students put on a remarkable performance at this year's Beecroft Zone Swimming Carnival, held at Sydney Aquatic Centre. The event saw participation from schools across the region, bringing together the most talented young swimmers in our area for a day of intense competition.

Our students showcased their exceptional swimming skills and sportsmanship, participating in various events that included freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. They demonstrated exceptional endurance, speed, and technique in every race, which makes us immensely proud of their hard work and dedication.

A special shout-out to Sean and Harvey, who managed to place in their respective races. We are delighted to share that Sean will represent the Beecroft zone in the upcoming Area Swimming Carnival.

Our students displayed outstanding perseverance, respect, and team spirit throughout the relays. They created a true sense of community, bonding with their peers from other schools, and celebrating their accomplishments together.

PSSA

Stage 2

For the first time ever, Stage 2 students are now competing in the Beecroft Zone PSSA competition on Fridays. Students have been training hard for our first-round match, with students waking up bright and early for 8am training. This hard work and dedication certainly paid off as our Teeball and Oz-tag teams battled it out against Normanhurst West Public School last week. It was an exciting experience for all students. What was even more impressive was the level of sportsmanship shown by our students. They demonstrated respect and fair play towards their opponents, cheering each other on and congratulating their opponents on their successes. It was a fantastic display of not only their athletic abilities but also their character. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, determination and sportsmanship, and look forward to their continued success in the weeks to come.

Stage 3

Despite the wet and dewy morning of the first week of PSSA sports, the weather held up for a cracking day of Oztag and Softball. The Stage 3 boys Oztag team came away with a hard fought 13-11 win against Epping North Public School. Despite the girls’ strong efforts, they fell short with a 14-4 loss.

For Softball, the girls had an 8-8 draw and the boys a 13-8 loss in the first round of Interschool sport against Epping North Public School. With so many players new to the sport and still learning the tactics and rules these were both excellent results.
