REROC

 Leadership Forum

On Thursday 23rd March, Frazer Lugton, Madeleine Gaiter and Macca Edwards attended the REROC Leadership Forum here in Wagga. The theme for this year’s Forum was ‘Take Charge’ and gave students the opportunity to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.

Throughout the day, the students had the ability to draft and record their own podcast, utilising the mobile radio van from The End FM, a community youth radio station based in Deniliquin. They also engaged with the South West Arts project, which aimed to give a voice to the feelings experienced through Covid and own their positives in a session with The Mindful Warrior. Frazer, Macca and Madeleine then had the opportunity to meet students from around the region and understand the importance of body language in communicating confidence and positivity. We rounded out the day on how to be practical and effective leaders within a school setting.

These three students were a credit to the College and actively participated in each session.
