In Performing Arts, Foundation students have begun using ukuleles. In the picture below, they are practising their strumming technique.

Visual Art news

In Visual Arts, Year 6 students have been using Modroc-plaster to sculpt their own individual masks.

Zart Student Art Award

Last Friday Iris (3M) was presented with a special prize hamper containing over $100 worth of art supplies.  

Iris entered artwork into the Zart Student Art Competition for 2022 and was selected as one of the shortlisted finalists. This means she was one of the top 21 entries from around Australia in the Foundation-Year 3 category! What an amazing achievement Iris!  

If you would like to see her fabulous artwork, a photo of it is on display in noticeboard outside the Art room, though I’m told that her original piece of work was even larger than the one that we have.
