Italian Day
FESTA ITALIANA
Wednesday 12th October is Italian Day.
Festa Italiana is a whole school event with all our students and staff joining in the festivities. The day will start in the hall at 8.50am with a special assembly and fashion parade. Students are asked to come dressed in something Italian, whether it be an Italian character, famous person or they may dress in the Italian colours.
Throughout the day students will be involved in a number of different activities, including attending a masterchef class run by Johnny Di Francesco from 400 Gradi. All students who like (and are able to eat pizza) will all be getting a Margherita pizza from Gradi, however the canteen will be taking online orders for any gluten free students (please order these in advance).
The Healthy Hut will also be doing over the counter sales that day for students wishing to buy an Italian treat. Students may not be eating at the regular time so I suggest that students also pack some fruit or other food they wish to have throughout the day. Also, students will only need money IF they wish to purchase a gelati, Italian cup cake, biscotto, or other treats from the canteen.
All parents are invited to our assembly and fashion parade.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Saluti
