Student Leader's Report

Hello everyone I hope you have had a wonderful week. This week has been extra special and exciting because it was Book Week! There were various book week activities in the classroom for all year levels, and today we had the book week parade, it was very successful and super fun! Everyone enjoyed it and lots of high fives were given out! There were some amazing costumes with lots of effort put into them, good job to everyone and we can’t wait for book week to come around again next year!

In years 3-6 there was a spelling bee test, where students had the choice to participate in the test and tried their best to answer and spell the words given correctly. This was completed online and if you got a certain score the student will move on to the next round.

The grade 6’s have been working on a maths project about money. Each student was given a budget of $3,500 and a selection of locations. The year 6’s have been working very hard and attempting to stay on budget with the 5 categories they have to work within (accommodation, travel, food, entertainment and souvenirs) but the plane trip is not included as being paid for.
