Changes to Care and the holiday Program
Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and the state of emergency, the government has shut down non-essential services and started the school holidays on 24/03/20. This has been done as a social distancing measure to slow the spread of the virus.
At this point, Biz – E - Kidz is still running a holiday program from Monday 30th March until Tuesday 14th April. However, we have had to drastically change the way the program runs, including cancelling all incursions.
For families with existing bookings, we urge them to consider their need for care in light of the above. We ask that if you are able to keep your children at home with a carer or make other appropriate arrangements, that you do so.
To support families at this time, Biz – E – Kidz will be waiving the holiday program cancellation/change of booking fee.
Please note: Biz – E – Kidz is operating day – to – day and at the discretion of the school and the department. Programs will subject to change and cancelation at short notice.
Social Distancing
Although Biz – E — Kidz will endeavour to make the programs as fun as possible for the children, we are increasing hygiene and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of children and staff.
This means that:
·We have to limit the number of children in the space to meet distancing guidelines
·All incursions have been cancelled
·Any children or adults who are sick are not to attend the service, even for pick up or drop off
·Any children that show any signs of illness must go home immediately
·Staff will be signing children in and out for families
·Families are not to enter the Biz – E – Kidz building
·Biz – E – Kidz reserves the right to cancel days due to insufficient bookings and staffing or at the discretion of the Department of Education and Training or the school
