SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Year 12

 Students are now beginning to realise that they are approaching the end of their studies at Mooroopna Secondary College. A range of activities have been planned both to support and celebrate their journey. Below is an overview, letters of invitation will be distributed early in Term 4 regarding the Final Assembly and the Valedictory.

Monday 7th October – English Prac Exam 9 am – 12.15 pm.

                                               Lunch for all Year 12 students in C12

                                               Relaxation Strategy session 1 – 2 pm

Friday 18th October –   Looking After Your Mates 9 – 10.30 am

Tuesday 22nd October – Whole School Assembly 2.45 pm

Wednesday 23rd October - Breakfast 8.30 am

                                                        Final Assembly 9.20 – 10.30 am

                                                        Morning Tea 10.30 – 11 am

Thursday 24th /Friday 25th – classes for students

Wednesday 30th October – English Exam

Wednesday 20th November – Valedictory Dinner – The Woolshed

All students will be required to get a ‘Subject Release’ form signed by their teachers to ensure that all work has been submitted before they leave.

VCE students have received their exam timetable and the Navigator handbook regarding exams.

Year 11

Student will have received a Subject Receipt of the subjects they have selected at their chosen campus. These are to be signed and returned to the office a.s.a.p. If there are any discrepancies please note these on your returned receipt. If there is need for re-counselling, this will take place early in Term 4.

Further transition activities are being looked into early next term, as are the dates for ‘Early Commencement”.

Year 10

Students have received an invitation to attend the Year 10 Formal. This will be held at The Connection on Thursday 10th October, 6.30 – 10.30pm. Tickets are on sale at the office from Wednesday 18th September at a cost of $40.

Students have received a receipt of the subjects and campus they have selected for 2020. These are to be checked, signed and returned to the office a.s.a.p. If there are any issues, please make not on the form.
