Primary Presentation Day

The Primary Presentation Day was held today with academic, sporting and citizenship awards handed out. Congratulations to all our award recipients and the graduating Year 6 class who have completed their primary education journey. A big congratulations to the 2020 Primary Captains, Eva Hayes and Hamish McWilliam and Vice Captains, Dominique Baker and Oliver Thomas. The day also included a lovely farewell for retiring teacher Lyn Hoy.  The artwork was painted by staff, with children from every grade decorating the feathers with the message,  "Thank you for opening our wings and teaching us to fly, the "wise owl" representing Lyn Hoy, who also received the Purple Thistle award for her dedication to the School. Congratulations to Sharon Barnett who received The Golden Frog award for her time and effort over many years with the Primary P & F. There are more photos  on The Hub and here is the Primary Presentation Day Program

Carols

Thank you to our Calrossy community for joining us at our Annual Carols Service. It was wonderful to see so many families join us for this annual Calrossy Tradition. A huge thank you also must go to Naomi Turner, Director of Music at Calrossy for coordinating this event and ensuring everyone was pitch perfect, plus the talented music staff members for accompanying our students.

The booklet contains a fabulous account of our history and the many personalities who have shaped Calrossy over time (including the William Cowper Schools up to their amalgamation) and should not be missed.
