Music and Drama

Term 3 highlights! 

We have had a busy term in the performing arts looking into drama in many different forms, including role play, improvisation, a focus on story telling, voice and facial expression and how we change as performers depending on the purpose or audience. 

In music we have continued to improve our knowledge about songs, rhythms, hand signs and have done so much listening to music of incredible composers including Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg, Dvorak and Brahms. Wow! It's amazing how well we can make sense of the music from these wonderful composers through detailed, purposeful listening to musical elements including tempo, dynamics, rhythm, melody, meter and form.
