Our Own Karate Kid!

Dion from SDG is flying high in Japan this week and next.  He is one of only 12 Victorian students chosen to participate in a Junior Karate Cultural Exchange Tour, during which he will train in Karate at Japanese Dojos with accredited coaches, culminating in his entry into the Hyogo Prefecture Karate Championships.  This is an extremely high level of achievement in Dion's chosen sport and we wish him well for the world-class competition.

Also on the tour, Dion will visit sites of historical and cultural significance, including Himeji Castle, Hiroshima Peace Park and temples of importance in Kyoto.  An incredible experience, Dion - well done!
