PRAYER 

Great and wonderful God, with awe and wonder we come to you. You are with each and every day, constantly by our side, working in us and through us, teaching, guiding, encouraging, and leading us to new experiences of your love. Mighty and mysterious God, receive our worship in Jesus’ name.

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday some of our Year 4 students had a class visit with our parish priest.

Family Mass 

Our next Family Mass will be held on Sunday 4th June at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m (with Yr 2 and Yr 4 families strongly encouraged to attend). 

It would be lovely to see as many families as possible attending. These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.

The Month of Mary

May is the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We can take the month of May as an opportunity to renew our own devotion to the Mother of God by dusting off our rosary beads and adding a few more prayers to our daily routine. Prayers such as The Angelus, The Regina Caeli and The Memorae are some that can be included in your daily prayer as well as saying the Rosary.

BENEMERENTI MEDAL

Last Saturday Robyn Burke received a Benemerenti Medal. The Benemerenti Medal is a medal awarded by the Pope to members of the clergy and laity for service to the Catholic Church. 

SACRAMENTS

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist 

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation has begun for our students.

Hard copy enrolments can be handed to the school office.

YEAR 6 RE TEST

This term our Year 6 students will be participating in the annual Religion Education Test on Wednesday 14th June.
