Himani - Rotary Youth Citizenship Awards 

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Himani for being the recipient of the prestigious Rotary Youth Citizenship Award. Himani's nomination stood out due to her exceptional qualities and remarkable contributions to our school community. Her compassion towards new students is truly commendable, as she consistently goes above and beyond to make them feel welcome and supported. Despite her quiet and shy nature, Himani demonstrates great initiative by actively seeking out answers on behalf of her peers. She plays a vital role in fostering a socially inclusive environment, encouraging her classmates to actively engage with one another. Himani's unwavering respect and politeness towards everyone further exemplify her admirable character. Her commitment to empathy, perseverance, and building a strong community makes her an exceptional recipient of this award. 

Evelyn - Achievement in Piano - A+ for Practical Exam 

We would like to recognize the remarkable growth and passion displayed by one of our talented students in the field of music. Congratulations on achieving a shocking A+ in the practical exam! From the early years of learning the piano, this student gradually developed a love for the instrument. Following the AMEB syllabus, they dedicated themselves to mastering various pieces and delving into the background knowledge behind them. The preparation for the exam brought about pressure and challenges, but the result was truly rewarding. After a rollercoaster of emotions, including tears, pressure, homework, study, effort, and countless lessons, this student's piano teacher decided to humorously reveal the great news: an outstanding A+ grade! We are proud of this student's perseverance and determination throughout their musical journey. 

Alex - Remarkable Achievements in Music 

Let's give a round of applause to Alex for their amazing achievements in the field of music! Besides their academic pursuits, Alex enjoys playing both the piano and the violin. Currently preparing for the AMEB Grade 8 Piano and Grade 3 Violin examinations, they are relishing the opportunity to perform beautiful pieces. We commend Alex's commitment to honing their musical skills and look forward to witnessing their future accomplishments. 

Salome - Breaking School Records and Athletics Carnival Achievements 

We are thrilled to announce Salome's extraordinary accomplishments during our recent Athletics Carnival. Salome has broken two school records this year, showcasing their exceptional fitness and determination.  First, they achieved an astonishing 1 minute and 13 seconds in the Chin-Up Hold, setting a new benchmark. Additionally, Salome's Fitness Award Score of 791 shattered a record that had stood since 2019. This score is a testament to their outstanding performance across ten different fitness tests. She achieved remarkable success in multiple events, earning a first-place ribbon for the triple jump and 800m, and securing second place in both the 1500m and 400m events.  We applaud Salome for their incredible athletic abilities and unwavering commitment to personal excellence. 

 Vanshi - Exceptional Performance at Athletics Carnival 

Let's congratulate Vanshi for their exceptional performance during the Athletics Carnival, where they displayed remarkable skills and determination. Vanshi secured an impressive four medals, including 1st place in the 1500m and 400m events, and 2nd place in the 800m race. Their dedication to training and unwavering spirit have resulted in this well-deserved recognition. We are proud of Vanshi's achievements and wish every student continual success. 

We commend the following class captain leaders for their exemplary initiative and flawless execution of the first evening activity during the Year 8 camp. Well done!
