After a taste of life beyond school with a week of work experience, Yr 10 students are touring our universities and TAFEs to look at future opportunities. 

Last Friday we visited Deakin University where students were ushered into a lecture theatre for an overview on study options with Deakin and some insight into university life.  Following this we toured the campus in smaller groups.

In the afternoon we joined the throng at the Melbourne Exhibition Center for a Career Expo. Students were free to visit information booths from a large array of employment and training providers.  Our students were excellent and I look forward to our trip next week to RMIT University and TAFE and Holmesglen TAFE, Chadstone campus.
