CHS Girls Rugby League

Well done to Matilda & Maddie on their selection in the CHS girls Rugby League side. They represented the Greater Region in Wollongong 22 to 26 May.

Congratulations to Ellie Merchant on her selection into the Cricket NSW Central North Youth Academy Squad!

Buckley Shield

Our U14 Rugby League team travelled to Glen Innes to play in the Buckley Shield. The boys won against Glen Innes & lost to Inverell. All players did themselves, their families & the school proud. Congratulations Axel, Brock, Will, Jack B, Jack C, Timothy, Braydon, Toby, Ryan, Jaylan, Kody, Cooper, Kenn, Finlay & Matari

Netball Gala Day

Three teams travelled to Inverell on 1 June to participate in the Netball Schools Cup

The three teams were:

7/8 Boys - 2 wins 2 loss 1 draw

7/8 Girls - 2 wins 3 losses 1 draw

9/10 Girls - I win 5 losses

Student's skills improved throughout the day and positive sportsmanship was displayed each game. Well done THS Netballers! Thank you to Mr Cook, Mrs Dhadlie & Miss Green for taking them.

Physical Activity & Sports Studies (PASS)

Mr Cook's PASS students have been playing Tennis once a week as part of their Term 2 program. Students engage in a wide range of physical activities in order to develop key understandings about how and why we move and how to enhance quality and enjoyment of movement. Keep up the great work!

CHS Squash

Well done to Tahlia, Adele, Finlay, Nessa & Renee who competed at the CHS Squash championships in Coffs Harbour 29 May to 2 June. It was a fun couple of days, everyone played exceptionally well & placed 4th overall.
