Reconciliation Week

On Tuesday 30 May THS held a special Reconciliation Week assembly, where Roxy did a special Acknowledgement of Country and spoke about the importance of this week. Roxy also teaches an Aboriginal language to some of our students.
Mrs Vandermolen (Mrs V) came dressed today in traditional Torres Strait Islander dress and gave a presentation about teaching and living on Murray Island and the Kimberley's.
The Junior AECG & Mrs Bancroft-Stuart offered all students/staff the opportunity to help create an ochre handprint canvas at lunch time. Take a look at what they created, great work everyone!
