South East Careers and Trade Expo
This year all of our Year 9’s and all VCE Vocational Major students attended the South East Careers and Trade Expo at the KCC Park. This year’s event was once again coordinated by our SELLEN (South East Local Learning and Employment Network) and was bigger and better than ever. Students had the opportunity to speak with industry experts about career opportunities, learn about opportunities provided by the Australian Defence Force and Victoria Police, identify courses of interest by talking with TAFE and University representatives and try out a trade to see if this was of interest. Students were able to braid hair, lay a brick, work on a car engine or ice their own bun at the Bakers Delight stand. St. Peter’s also had a stand to promote the many VET in School options we provide at the Cranbourne and Clyde north campuses.
