From the Board

Welcome, Jonathon Brimfield
On behalf of the St Mary's College Board, I am delighted to welcome Jonathon Brimfield to the College Board.
Jonathon is the parent of Charlotte in Year 5 and is heavily involved involved in the College community. You will often see him manning the barbecue at school events. He is an active participant on the SMC Wellbeing Committee and Presentation Families, which aims to help connect St Mary's College parents, carers and friends to the school.
Jonathon represents Presentation Families on the Board and his connection to and understanding of the school community will be a wonderful asset.
Presentation Families Project – Charger Station Trial
Through feedback sought from the previous SMC Parents and Friends' Association, it was identified that school charging facilities would be useful for students struggling to keep their laptops charged throughout the school day.
This has been taken up as a Presentation Families project, with a charging station for Senior School student devices to be located outside of the Student Resource Centre. This $5,000 project will be a trial to assess further needs.
We have some other great projects being finalised which we will share with you shortly. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to provide ideas for projects or initiatives that you think would benefit the school.
The Presentation Families levy is designed for these types of projects that enhance the wellbeing of the College community.
